“I made this piece with something greater in mind — we all need reminders in our daily lives. I had this in mind: that we, as humans, sometimes forget, when we face any calamity in our life, that the One who controls our life is going to make everything alright, and we need to have faith in Him. Our Lord says, in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse no. 186, "When My servants ask you ˹O Prophet˺ about Me: I am truly near. I respond to one's prayer when they call upon Me. So let them respond ˹with obedience˺ to Me and believe in Me, perhaps they will be guided ˹to the Right Way˺."Also, the purpose behind painting the background mainly with blue color is to represent the sky and the vast, unseen expanses of our Lord's knowledge. What I mean to say is, whatever we may face in our life is handled by the One who is aware of everything, even the falling of a leaf, and so, if we call upon Him with certainty, we will surely get an answer from Him. We just need to have faith in Him and His divine words.”
